nuLink info. Please help!!

I've now returned my TT Go1005 - too may problems and just really expensive for what it is.
I'm looking to jump ship to Garmin but I have a couple of questions regarding their nuLink range. Much is being made of these on their website but;

- Is it just RDS-TMC data sent through GPRS or does the data come from Google, as used on Google maps?
- Is the routing still a bit iffy - I had a Nuvi when they first came out many, many years ago and it would regularly take me off a road and just make me re-join later for no reason at all or send me down country lanes that were single track roads, thinking they were main roads!
- Exactly how much does it cost to renew the subscription?
- Are fuel prices and weather actually available? Someone on an Amazon review said that they had been withdrawn.
- In the US, I was told that adverts apprared on the device to offset the cost of providing the Google data. Is this the case in the UK?

Finally, there seem to be dozens of Garmin devives at the moment. I was thinking of getting a 2320. Does anyone have any experience of these?
