TomTom Traffic and re-routing?

Does anyone know how/when TomTom will auto route you around traffic?

coming back today it found a 17min delay and a 14min delay fairly close to each other with ! marks next to the delay.

I manually choose to avoid them and got home in "normal" times.

So I was just wondering when the auto re-route would kick in?

nobody knows how this works then, perhaps I'll drop an email to TomTom.

As far as i could see when testing traffic, it didnt work. I had that setting switched on and in a 60min delay traffic jam it just kept me on the same route through the traffic jam.

I have managed to get the auto re-route to work in testing - though it was kicking in when I set a route that I knew would plan through a hideous jam. Navigator planned the route, then planned another route avoiding the jam.
