tom tom 1000 uk and roi

hi do you have to activate these, i put it on my computer and it did all the updates without.it didnt ask for anything.im confused please help

The new computer software - MyTomTom - is not the same as the old Home. It is so clever, it knows what to do and what you need to have, so it doesn't allow you to interface with it. According to TomTom! Evil or Very Mad

I hope you didn't register it with the same email address as your 520.

Hi mine did the same as far as I can remember, just set up my tomtom account. Turned on the 1000 Go, went to Live Services - My Services (think it may have asked me for my user name and password) and then you can see when the live services are valid to
