Hi,

I have the TNS-410 in-built TomTom in a Yaris, and a Nokia E65.

Got a strange problem where when I make a call through the TomTom, the phone dials out but there's no sound through the car's speakers. If I turn the phone off and on again, the sound works as it should.

The phone definitely pairs to the TomTom, and the TomTom definitely sends sound out through the speakers. But I get this issue when making a call. Simply turning the Bluetooth off and on again doesn't help.

Anyone know about this and how to fix it?

Cheers.

Not very familiar with 'built-in' satnav's. Have you considered contacting Toyota? Maybe an updated CD/DVD can be supplied to update the Satnav unit?

Is the car still in Warranty? Maybe TomTom support can help?

Personaly I have a TT GO 1000 and connect my HTC Desire via Bluetooth. Never had any problems with voice.

Sorry for all the questions but trying to garner what you have done so far.

Cheers

Andy

I don't know anything about the TNS410, but I do know my Nokia E72 Bluetooth works great with my GO 1000.

With my old GO 930 the pairing was usually hit and miss, so I suspect the Toyota has the old Bluetooth hardware.

Sony Ericsson phones used to work best with my old 930.
