V870 Maps and Hindhead on the A3

Just got back from travelling down to DisneyLand Paris....and when making our way to the Channel Tunnel last week I noted that I was sent through the new tunnel @ Hindhead - OK thats fine it will pick up in a sec as we carry on through Hindhead on the "Old" A3.

As we got to the Esso petrol station next to the Devils PunchBowl cafe the SatNav showed me in the middle of the Forest....no road nothing. Do TeleAtlas / TomTom know something because I can't see the cafe doing a lot of trade if the road disappears (it's going to struggle anyway with no passing trade).

Does anyone know what is going to happen to the old road?
