Have you tried putting your nuvi into simulation mode and setting your location as somewhere within the area covered by the city explorer map?
If still no joy then a call to Garmin CS is probably required. |

I had the self same problem with a 3760T after a map update.
I purchased the satnav in Dec 2010 and maps loaded were 2011.30.
Contrary to what sussamb says, this did have photo real
junction view. When I updated the maps (via free update),
photo real was no longer available. I then had a series of
emails back & forth with Garmin, to no avail. The problem
was that there were no longer any .JCV files in the JCV folder
on the unit. In the end I phoned Garmin in Southampton and spoke
to a tech rep, & she very kindly let me have the latest map update
2012.10, which put the JCV files back. It is now working fine.
Thanks Garmin! |

Glad Garmin sorted it for you.
Yes, I was wrong about photoreal views, did correct myself in another thread but obviously missed this one. Seems that my 2010 map download didn't originally download photoreal junctions, just the old style hence my confusion. As others were saying they had photoreal I downloaded the same map again and this time got the photoreal junction views. Seems that Garmin may update junction view files for older mapsets, so for those who don't have them and are able to redownload their maps it may be worth doing so |
