Hi All,

Would it be possible to change the link in the top nav bar from http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=index&c=21 to http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=index so that it loads all the forums and not just the top ones

Thanks in advance

personally i prefer it the old way. far less daunting for newcomers and it's much easier to see all the categories on one screen so a user comes loking for Garmin stuff and they see the link for garmin discussion and click on that. now, with the full list expanded, they simply won't see it without a lot of scrolling to get to it...

as a compromise can we make the tab link to the full list and the 'index' link in the dropdown go to the compressed version?

Makes sense to me - so clicking on the "forum" tab itself goes to the compressed menu and clicking on the "forum index" below it (or anywhere else) takes you to the expanded one?

So you were!

To me, "Forum index" means the full index
and "Forum" means whatever view you want. Smile

well, if we look up a dictionary definition of 'index' we get: "a light, smooth cardboard stock."

so, we're all knackered really!

maybe 'forums by category' for the compressed list?
