In my opinion the GO 1000 has been the best TomTom so far.
Yes, it has been a slow start, but everything that should 'currently' work does work without any problems. |
You're easily pleased then!
Yes it has the possibility of being a good machine, but:
Do you not think backups should work by now?
Do you not think people should be able to buy new maps? (not just get the LMG)
Do you not think Mapshare should work by now?
Do you not think itinerary planning should have been a standard feature right from the word go?
Do you not think the lamentable implementation of user-POIs is quite pathetic enough? (I refuse to call them "shared POIs")
Do you not think the new 50 mile limit to POI searches is a problem?
Do you think dropping the Fuel Price service rather then getting it working properly is acceptable?
I could go on and on.... |

And guess how many of the above missing thingies are working on my various machines? - GO 520, XL Live, GO 550 Live, Carminat, even my WinMo TTNav6. Yes, right! MapShare isn't available in TT Nav 6 - that really gets me down! And I can't even begin to tell you how bad I feel about not being able to search for a 1.43% saving on my next fuel topup. _________________ Dennis
