Sorry once again to include a link to the DM:

I'm wondering how quickly IQ routing will adapt to this, as it seems to be that TT maps are up to 12 months old when issued.
My personal experience a couple of Sundays ago of being routed back via Central London, in the evening, because TT assumed the M25 was choco has made me seriously consider turning it off. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

The Edinburgh Bypass is as bad as always. IQ Routes doesnt usually get it right, it takes longer than predicted. |

The Motorway network certainly doesn't seem as busy these days, only yesterday running down the M6 & M5 it seemed quieter than what I would expect, most of the time I was in the inside lane running at something close to the speed limit, six months ago this wasn't the case and certainly not when going from M5 to M6 heading North as that is always a car park, no queue yesteday - Mike |

No change on the M25, still the usual parking lot at peak times. _________________ Drivelux |

I haven't noticed any drop in traffic, and I still see queues at petrol pumps.
If anything it's worse now because more people are using cars instead of trains, due to the cost of going by train is not cheaper and journey time is longer.
There is always a drop off in traffic as days get lighter after the winter.
People go back to walking/cycling and going on holidays abroad. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

The major road network in my local area still seems to be as busy as ever and the cheapest petrol station around home (Esso, not supermarket) tends to be as busy off-peak now as it used to be at the busiest times.
Having said that, as businesses try to make savings, we are perhaps seeing fewer business miles and, therefore, less company cars on the roads at certain times. _________________ Andy
