TT v1.6 Traffic HD fails to connect

Hi Guys,

Finally moved from the 940Live to an iPhone version of TT ( as my 940 no longer charges ).

Install of app on iPhone seemed to go ok.

Came to set up traffic and things started to go wrong.

1. Went to Tomtom shop in app

2. click on Tomtom traffic

get "downloading available products" briefly, then

"connecting to tomtom server"

Then it just sits there. For hours...

Checked my TomTom account, thats fine.

Any ideas? ( Tomtom account email and password are different to iTunes. )

How are you connecting? Via WiFi or iPhone Data connection?

Tried both methods.

If I go to new voices, they all show, with buy options, its just traffic that fails.

Might be a temporary issue with their server then. Can't test it as I have a traffic sub.

I've raised a fault call with TT, and am now re installing the app :-)

Sorted.

1. Re install app - that brought up shop choices.

2. Email back from Tomtom, had to generate a NEW Tomtom account, as for some reason, my original one would not work with the app???

All hunky dory now Very Happy
