Anyone purchased a map update recently. Site is still showing 12 + 6 months for £19.98. I've just tried to buy and when I go to place the order / payment screen it says page not found. I've tried it in IE9 ( compatiable mode) and Firefox all with AV software disabled?

I haven't bought a map recently, but if I go to the TT website and try to get the update service, the first thing it does is tell me to do it via Home.
It asks if I have Home installed and when I say "yes" it automatically loads, checks if I have the device connected and then offers me the update service.
I can click on "Buy now" and it takes me to the Shopping cart, and I can go as far as the Checkout and the "Confirm order" button.
At that point I cancel because I don't want to buy, but it all seems to be working. |

Ahh... that's kind of vital!
AFAIK, there is no way to buy new maps for the Go1000 as yet, only the Latest Map Guarantee has been enabled so far.
The website does seem to imply you can though... Stand by, I'll give it a try. |

OK... connected Go1000 and went to this. page.
Looks like they've only recently implemented it (but only for the map you have already!)
That says:

Updated: Visit www.tomtom.com/en_gb/shop/mapupdateservice to purchase the Map Update Service for the map on your navigation device. Other map updates cannot be purchased yet.
The Map Update Service is currently only available in the UK map shop.

Followed that link and got a page which (eventually) automatically recognised the Go1000 was connected and it offered the Europe - 1 year Map Update Service (+ 6 months bonus) for £35.80 (not your £19.98!)
I can get through the steps
1-Shopping basket
2-Your details
3-Order review
But I'm not going to clik on the "Place your order" button!
Do you get further then that? |

The £19.98 offer expired yesterday 2nd May for my 930.
That will be why the link no longer works.
I am still offered the maps for 18 months for the 1000 for £19.80 but not sure if that has also expired?
