Once the PocketGPSWorld Speed Camera data base is installed in the TomTom XL2 it needs the latest TomTom software to see the Speed Cameras in the TomTom XL2 POI Screen. How do we know if we have the latest software???

Does anyone know how to get the already pre-installed TomTom Speed Cameras in a TomTom XL2 show in the TomTom POI screen??

If you have an option for "Warn When Near POI" in the menu screens then you have the correct Navcore software installed to use the PGPSW Speed Camera Database.

The TomTom Safety Camera Database isn't treated as a POI file so the icons will only ever show up while driving rather than Browse Map mode, a cynical view would be to say this covers up the woeful accuracy of their data - Mike
