I know there has already been a thread on this but I wonder if anybody who has bought one could clear something up for me - the description says only for 'new' devices but will it work on my 940 with the latest maps and simply extend my current subscription? |

doubt it ..as it says only new machines ,you wont be able to extend your licence for an old machine ..The other way round it is to buy a new unit and sell the old 1
I'm pretty sure I'm right ...but 1 of the pro's will advise if I am wrong ..they always do _________________ TomTom 5001 |

I've purchased one of these 24 month prepaid map update cards from Halfords recently. The documentation that comes with the card says "This card is valid for 90 days after first use of your device". I'm certain it won't work with a device first activated more than 90 days ago, even with the latest maps onboard. |

I got this last week for my XL2, £30 for 2 years of map updates. I started using the XL2 on xmas day so it was within the 90 days so it worked. |
