How old

Is there a way to find out how old my tomtom is ?? I have a 550 live and it came with a years free HD traffic updates.

Now I'm sure it over a year old but I'm still getting the traffic updates.

I cant look it up anywhere as my books / accounts are with my accountant so is there a way to find out ??

On my 740 you can do the following

Tap Screen
LIVE Services
Next Screen
My Services

And you'll see the dates your Services expire. Don't worry too much about duplicate entries.

Wow that was quick!!

Thanks for that, I just did as you said to find out date to renew is 05/01/2011

But its still working ??

If I were to call them would they charge me for the time I have had extra ?? or should I just keep using it and hope they won't !!

I'd probably keep quiet about it. Check to see if you can scroll up and down and some more dates.

Also you dont have it set to display dates as

Month/Day/Year rather than Day/Month/Year

so it actually reads

05/01/2011 as 1 May 2011?

Nope no eggs, but have looked again at the date and it is 05/01/2011.

But I have just looked at the box and on it is a sticker saying 1 months free, now I got the other 12 free by sending off the invoice when I got it, so I'm thinking I might have 13 months free.

But if that is right it should have stopped on the 05/02/2011 !!

Think I might just see how long I get it free for and say nothing.

When there were loads of problems a while back and also when TT dropped the price of Live Services, at both times they automatically extended my subscription significantly as some form of service compensation, so my expiry dates are sometime in 2012.

Ive had a few compensations on my account but it always adds a new date.
