Afternoon all. It's been a very long time since posting but I'm back with a problem.

I have recently bought a Go 550 live unit and all files are up-to-date but there's an issue with speed warnings.

I have the alert to go off if I exceed the speed limit in a specs zone and the beeps go off correctly at 50 mph but the icon in the top left shows 31. Any ideas?

PS This is using the TomTom database and plan on switching to the PGPS cameras shorlty. Can you get the specs zone warnings with these too or is it just possible with TomTom's?

There's the question AND the answer!!

Pgpsw database does not do the average speed display, but it does warn for each repeat camera. It's down to you to stay within the speed limit.

PS You CAN get the average speed facility (and implemented far better than TomTom's) if you have an iPhone (3GS/4) and get the pgpsw App, CamerAlert. 59 pence and the database comes free with your existing membership.

What Navcore version is installed as this bug was only in early software versions, whilst you are saying the unit is fully up to date I somehow think not, but then again it wouldn't be the first time TomTom have released an update with an old bug re-introduced...... - Mike

Thanks all for your help, I knew this place wouldn't let me down Very Happy

When I said I was up-to-date with software I that was based on the fact that TT Home wasn't giving me a newer version to install.

However, I was indeed running 9.022 and after a forced update to 9.058 everything is working as expected Very Happy

I also noticed that TTS seems a lot more accurate now too.

My next step is to get the PGPSW cameras installed, although I'll probably keep the TT Specs and mobile active as the former has the zone speed warning and the latter (allegedly) gives me OTA mobile locations.

Only problem with those is they can be seriously out of date and it's infuriating when the roadworks have finished, there's no reduced speed limit in force and you drive for miles and miles at 70 with the TT pinging away saying you're going 20mph too fast!
