Since the last update I lost all my warning as normal, however this time they will not work. I deleted the warnings from the manage POI /warn etc and reset, tomtom plays the correct warning when i set up, however when driving all i get is a bong.
All the .ogg files are located in the map folder with the warnings.
Also I the postocde file does not know my home postcode anymore.
where are the lastest postcode files for download ?
tomtom version 8.351
europe west v855.2884.
Thanks in advance. |

Ogg files/POI warnings....
Try moving the .ogg files from the map folder into the "sounds" folder on the TomTom instead. Then set up the warnings again and you will find all the ogg sounds can be selected on the normal 'sound effects' page.
(Unfortunately the default naming structure that PGPSW use means the useful bit of the name is at the end so you cannot read it on the menu screen. Either rename the files or just tap one to hear it play, to find which one you're on. After that they should be in an order that you can work out)
Postcodes.....
Latest download is V855 Postcodes released (see first post) (UPDATED 11/09/10)
(That was easy to find using the "search" function on this forum - just put "postcodes" in the box and only search in the TomTom section) |

Thanks for the reply.
I have tried moving the sound files to the sound folder and relinking, although I can set up the alerts within the units and get verbal warnings again when driving I only get the bong.
Regarding the postcodes, It seams that TomTom have made an error with this version of the PAF file as my postcode according to them only goes up to 8 and my house number is 26. I have also tried using postcodes to navigate and have seen this error many times. |

Are you getting bong warnings from TomTom's own cameras?
Are you getting bongs for EVERY different pgpsw camera?
Have you installed the pMobile cameras and do you have ogg files for them (they are not available for every voice)? _________________ Dennis
