That'll teach me!
Guess who had to get up at 5:45 this morning to go to work in the dark. I was NOT happy. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

I have for many years kept my devices on GMT all year round. I live in the UK and travel often to Europe, but find it easier to adjust the time in my head than have to worry if any one device did not get reset for summertime or a cross channel trip.
I keep all of our cameras, GPSrs, watches, travel alarm clocks and vehicle clocks synced to GMT.
But recently, just before a short trip to Germany, I was cleaning one of my Garmins (Montana 650) as it booted and I later found that I had accepted a reset of all settings to default. Now back home I have tracklogs with times that are GMT, GMT+1 and GMT+2.
I also used my new Android Note II with OziEx. It also has all three time zones in use.
What a mess. Fortunately all cameras are in sync with GMT, so our photos from all cameras will be in time order.
Just noticed that this forum is set to GMT+10 !!! |

Bit of a lie in then Andy_P
I was glad when I retired from the trains and the 04:33 starts. Not happy getting up at 03:30 and in the Winter scrapping ice and snow off the car around 04:00. It took a while for my body clock to adjust this time of year, it felt like I was getting up at 02:30. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Time to adjust the time in your profile again.
If you don't know how to do it see the first post in this thread for instructions. _________________ Anita

+1
I've been meaning to change my profile time for the last few days
By the way, don't forget to change the time on your SatNavs and dashcams. _________________ Robert.

Quick reminder that it's that time once again to adjust the time in your profile.
By the way, don't forget to change the time on your SatNavs and dashcams.
