i have this medion md96770 sat nav, i had it repaired under warranty.
When i got it back, i could not enter a complete post code, only the first 4 digits can be entered, the last 2 digits are greyed out.
medion told me it needs installing from the discs that it came with, how on earth do i do this.
if any one can explain in simple terms how i do this i would be very grateful.
i have 2 discs, one says ,map for uk,ire, europe.
royal postal codes,
activesync,
gopal assistat.
the other says,
safety camara.
i have no idea how i should go about doing this.
thanks, kevin
Have you tried inserting the CD that mentions 'Royal Mail Post Codes' into your PC?
Tell us what happens when you do.
hi darren,
thanks for info, i enter the disc with post codes on and it comes up,
USER MANUAL,
ABOUT THIS CD,
GO PAL ASSISTANCE.
i clicked on the go pal assistance it comes up with,
LIBRARY. maps,gps track,points of interest,software,other.
STORE. store,download status.
DEVICES. mdpnae3212tr06, mdpnae3212tr07.
Also comes up with, no map data found, in order tsynchronise the map data with your device, you must first import it into the assistant using the import assistant (actions menu).
hope you can understand it, i can't.
kevin.

Doesn't mean a lot to me, I'm guessing there is an installer on the disc someplace for the PostCode data but not familiar with that device. _________________ Darren Griffin
