Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would share with you my top tip for getting my TT Navigator to run without the GPS switched on / in range. If (I emphasise IF) you have a Bluetooth enabled phone or similar device, you can point the PocketPC Bluetooth wizard at the serial port on the phone. OK it does not whinge any more, and you can navigate from " last known position". Its not great but it is also not annoying. Hope this is useful to someone.....

Also I ran traffic yesterday on my way to Bristol, and found it quite useful. I dont like losing my time to destination etc, and found myself flipping between the traffic bar on the left and my timings / distances etc. Come on TOMTOM, reformat the screen to allow both! As for the traffic info, I have found it to be a bit late (sitting in the traffic jams as they become displayed despite a 5 minute update period. Also the traffic jams extend beyond the areas alerted in TOMTOM. Other than that its a nice add on, but I have yet to be convinced that it warrants a 50 Euro subscription.

Happy Navigating (especially with traffic this Bank Holiday in the UK.

to stop the bt manger popping upi
try

747 BtRegTweak

if the link doesn't work just go to handango and search for it - it's freeware and works excellently.

http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=1&jid=62B44D8E4AXE7B5DXC78BAC34C7CFF3E&platformId=2&productType=2&catalog=0&sectionId=0&productId=96903

As for traffic I think a lot of us are going to question the 50 euro cost.

hope the bt workaround works for you.
