Hi
I have the Memory Map program, a Nuvi 710 and a Toshiba TG01 (which has integrated GPS).
I've got the Memory Map program running on the Toshiba as well as my laptop.
I was wondering if it is possible to use either of the two devices to tell Memory Map on the laptop the current GPS location using a USB cable?
Thanks

This should be possible by using Fransons GPS Gate on the PDA to port split the GPS data between the app on the PDA and the laptop via USB or Bluetooth (if the Laptop is BT enabled) have a look Here for the software and you get 14 days use for a free trial to make sure it can do what you want before you have to purchase it (and its well worth the cost IMHO) - Mike |

Thanks Mike and sorry I didn't respond sooner. I didn't realise I'd turned email notification off.
I think the Nuvi is out, as it goes into USB mode as soon as you connect. I've an old StreetPilot i3, which doesn't do this, and actually works. I'd forgotten about the StreetPilot, so I'll just use that for the odd occasion when I need this functionality.

To get the nuvi out of USB mode whilst still connected, try reading this thread
