If you really want MP3 and a Garmin, probably a 765t is your best bet - all of the above, plus FM transmitter built it
But consider losing the MP3 player and go for the newer 1490 / 1690 (with GSM Traffic) or even the new 3790t _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

I thought 765 was effectively the cheapest from Garmin.
Here's the thing, though, having had those features, I kinda don't want to be without them. And having owned both Garmin and TomTom, for my own personal use, I prefer Garmin - but the TomTom units, for the same kind of features seem to be a lot cheaper.

Well you can get the 3790T for £259, the 1690 for £165 (incredible value!), or the 1490T for £157 - the 765T comes in at £163 but thats the oldest unit of the four (but probably has the greatest feature set) - however it doesn't have the new 4 field data view option, and redraw and be slower. Its a great unit however, is my main unit at the moment, and ticks all your boxes
All above pricing is Hantec which are usually about the cheapest
Have you thought about the Navigon 8410 - its got everything you want and 2 years of maps updates (4/year) and some really nice features and Navteq mapping (like the Garmin) - it's £264 at Pixmania.com _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

£163 for the 765T looks interesting - hadn't seen it as cheap as that!
Out of stock at the moment, though - will keep my eye on it.
Hope this helps, if its the unit you want _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600
