Does anyone now how to use the exclusions file on POImanager pro v206 with ov2 files?
Every time I try making an exclusion asc file, whenever I open the master file I get a visual fortran error, any ideas?

Can't help I'm afraid, but you should be in the right place to ask because POI Manager was written by "Oldie" of this site.

How are you using it? The purpose of the application (as I understand it), is that a Master File is already in existence, with known good data.

An Update File containing, hopefully, unique data is compared to the Master File.

If the Application finds an entry in both files that falls within the Match Radius, then this entry is 'flagged up'. If there are any, they can be stepped through using the Update Options. You can choose to accept none/any/all as a New Entry.

Finally the Append Option. If this is Ticked then the Update File is Appended, to the Master File, and saved as the Output File. This will be ALL the locations in the Master File, plus unique locations in the Update File, plus any you choose to accept as a New Entry.

If the Append Option is Unticked, then the Output File will only contain the unique locations from the Update File, plus any you choose to accept as a New Entry.

I don't know what the Error means, and "Oldie" is on holiday at the moment.

I can only guess that one, or both, of the files are not in the correct format.

yes I got how that bit worked, the problem I'm having is with the exclusion file, which I understand omits new points within a radius of the exclusion points, but this file is causing the error.
I'm not certain whether this option works with OV2s or if the exclusion file needs to be of a OV2 format (is so what file extension does it need). Maybe it needs filename_x.OV2? I'll have to give that a try out.
No rush, I'm just experimenting with it ATM.
