Garmin nuvi 1310 poi install question

Hi, I may be beeing daft here but I've downloaded poi's for shell garages in the uk and unzipped the file and all thats in there is a windows excel file and a bmp file, now my question is do I just copy these files onto my garmin or do I have to convert it to somthing else?
Any help you could give me would be very gratful. Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome.

You need to use a program called POILoader to load the POIs to your unit.

Thanks for that what a plonker I was 2 mins after downloading the software and the poi's are on the sat nav, will now look for a couple more that I want.
