Something easy for someone (but not me) tt720

My Dad has asked me to look at his TomTom 720. When he turns it on, it shows the tomtom scr]een, then the loading screen, and then a screen that he has put on it (looks like a sea pic), after that everything just blacks out. I have tried the reset button, but other that that, I have no idea what to do. I would appreciate any and all advice.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
