I had an email fron TT yesterday offering a Breakdown service for £139.99 forr fuill european cover.
As I can get the same from Europe Assistance through Quotline Direct for £69.99, I think not. _________________ TT Go Essential |

I picked up my TomTom email this afternoon.
I suppose that it had to happen, especially as as they have had "Phone for help" in the TomTom PND menu for some time and in some versions they even have "AA Breakdown" as one of the options to phone.
Some time ago I asked in this forum, here, and even TomTom themselves whether the icon, description, and the telephone number could be changed to represent the breakdown service of your choice. Unfortunately these options are encoded into the map and it is not possible to add or edit these options.
I wonder if the "world’s largest assistance company" that TomTom have teamed up with will match TomTom's own customer service?

Do you mean the vehicle recovery service will have to lower its customer support per chance?? - Mike |

He means they'll respond within 48 hours (except weekends and every EU country Public Holiday, of course). I've only had three of these emails, another four to go! (before the reminders start coming). _________________ Dennis
