I have downloaded and installed the latest UK & European maps for my 1390T. However, I have already found some road speed errors on the map, a missing road and some weird routing (for instance, travelling along a certain main road, the route tells me to take a left turn onto another road which runs virtually parallel to the road I was on, followed by a right turn about 200 yards down the road via a roundabout which then brings me back onto my original main road). I have tried reporting these things to Garmin but have not had any response. Is there a particular Web page or e-mail address at Garmin for reporting such errors and anomalies? |

garmin use navteq mapping so you can report the errors here: http://mapreporter.navteq.com
However it may take a year or more for the changes to filter through to garmin's map updates...

And to block a road that has never been a through road. There are many other instances from a shedfull of our members along similar lines |

Both Navteq and Teleatlas are rather sloth-like at correcting errors, even when they are spoon fed reports from users they then charge a fortune for updates to.
Lets hope that one day OSM will be a complete enough solution for accurate mapping, you can then alter the map yourself and find it updated usually in a matter of hours. |
