TomTom XL IQ Routes Software Omissions

Has anyone else been frustrated with the two following aspects of the latest siftware, know a workaround, or the source of better software?

1. There is only a 'change voice' icon. The problem is that I cannot therefore find a way to disable voice. The only option eems to be to turn off all sound - which is hardly acceptable. Is their no way to disable voice but retain sound?

2. The + and - aspect magnification display function. On my 920 GO, I like to see a bit of the display generated sky at the top of the map - on the XL. when I press the - key to facilitate this, it returns to the full screen after just a few seconds. Can it be locked into a particular preferred magnification in any way?

For your first issue, you may want the Silent Voice found here

For the second. Don't think your model has that same capability as the 930 model does.

If you set screen view to 3D the sky appears at the top and stays there .
