This morning, I had a notification of an app that needed to be updated in the Apple App Store. I was extremely surprised to see that it was CamerAlert!
On closer investigation, the update date was 5 Nov 2017, i.e. 3½ years ago at the time of writing. The details are:
This app has been updated by Apple to use the latest Apple signing certificate.
Updated settings to allow the 'Ignore Direction' option to set/reset correctly.
Version 2.0.7 (7.4 MB), this is the same version of the app that I have already installed.
I have two iPhones, a 12 pro and a 6s Plus. I use the 6s Plus for SatNav and CamerAlert (it's always plugged into a power supply as the battery is poor). I hate having un-updated apps in the Apple App Store so I downloaded CamerAlert onto my iPhone 12 and will test that for a few days to see if it still works, whilst leaving my iPhone 6s Plus with the older version. _________________ Robert.
