I downloaded, through Home, some alternate day and night map colours but on flashing up the unit, they don't appear on the list, just the standard colour ones.
Any ideas how to access them please? JUst to add, on Manage my device, they are listed as on the computer and on the device but I cannot find them.
I am confused! _________________ Returned to a proper Garmin although still have Co-Pilot on a Galaxy S3! |

Use Explorer to see the contents of the scheme folder on the unit. You should see files with the extension of .clr there.
On the unit, when it comes to switch map colours, you have to select advanced and cycle through the supplied ones till you see a rainbow looking icon. you then select that and it takes you to another screen where the downloaded files are. you select one there.
Do the same process for night colours. _________________ David |

|

Having looked at the selection of colour schemes on TomTom Home, there are pages and pages but you are unable to see the colour schemes of most as they just have a generic colour palette for the icon. Is there any other way of seeing them rather than downloading them, selecting them on the unit and then deleting them as they are not what you want?
Seems a long winded way of doing things! _________________ Returned to a proper Garmin although still have Co-Pilot on a Galaxy S3! |

You can preview schemes using Color Scheme Editor. The site also has a selection of schemes though doesn't appear to have been updated for some time.
You will be able to load schemes downloaded from Home as well to get a preview and edit as you wish. _________________ Gerry
