Grateful if somone would explain what Navcores actually describe?

Navcore is the term used for the actual software installed to the device, whilst it is device specific quite often its possible to load Navcores intended for other devices to a device to get different capability from the unit (it doesn't allways work and often you will find issues when doing ths, at worst it can brick the device).
Its really just the application/ program etc, or are you after more information on differences between versions as that could take weeks to write! - Mike
