To add the speed camera database to any iPhone navigation application requires the phone to be jail broken which will invalidate your warranty.
TomTom works well on the iPhone but there is no option to "Warn when near POI" so even if you put the files on the phone all they will do is show up on the map which isn't very good.
Sygic is a much better application for using speed cameras with as it fully supports warnings and even offers support to the spoken alerts that can be used with the database. Again to do this requires the iPhone to be Jail Broken, see Here for some instructions on how to install - Mike |

Ignoring the JailBroken 'hacked' phones. The simple answer is 'you don't' unless the software explicitly supports it in which case it will be supplied as part of the app.
Quite how updates will be provided is yet to be seen as no manufacturer has provided any yet other than in an application update. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Good luck with that, CoPilot's camera data is so awful it's worse than laughable.
If you'd asked for suggestions we could have helped with suggestions. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Navmii currently uses a copy of the PGPSW database that is a bit out of date now - but still better than the rest. Navmii say they will shortly be introducing an in-app facility to update the camera database on a regular basis. _________________ Alan - iPhone 5 64GB, with CamerAlert, TomTom Europe & CoPilot |

It uses spoken warnings.

Currently bundled with the app but they plan an update which allows in-app updating of the database.

Aside from adding your own favourites, no. _________________ Darren Griffin |
