TomTom One wont charge!

Recently my One device has failed it lost power and the screen went blank. Thinking it just needed charging i bought a new wall charger but when plugged in no light comeson the unit does not charge? It must be something elase other than low power - how easy is it to repair the One devices [its a few yrs old] or do I have to consdier getting a new machine?

It's hard to diagnose what's wrong from what you describe. The most common issue, the battery, is not the case here as it would still run if external power has been applied.

There are no other user replaceable parts inside, the only option is to look at a repair and see if it is fixable.

SatNav Shop will be able to give you a quote but given the low cost of a replacement new model with latest maps it may be time to consider a new unit?
