Hi
My TomTom 910 is nearly dead and i have just replaced it with a 950. I travel a lot internationally with work and also downloaded the map for South Africa in September. I have had the 910 for 4 years and it has been a loyal servant and never gone seriously wrong; well nothing a quick reset didn't fix!
Doers anyone know if there is any way I can get this onto my 950?
I think it's pretty unreasonable to expect me to DL the map again at £40+. I presume I can't just copy and paste in Windows Explorer!
Any ideas would be appreciated! |

No it is not possible because the map is locked to the device it was initially bought for. You will need to buy the map again for the new device unfortunately!

Thanks for your reply, thought that was going to be the case. That really sucks! |

I know of several cases where a unit is broken that TomTom support has agreed to activate the maps for your new device. You should at least contact them. _________________ http://www.runarweb.com |
