Hi,

I have TT Navigator 3 BlueTooth and TT holder for xda2. I used this last weekend for a trip to Wales. Plugged the lead that came with the Nav kit into the car charger from the holder kit. Assumed all was well - green light on cigarette socket plug - but the GPS receiver died on the second day the batteries having gone dead.

Am I right in thinking that the lead that came with the Nav kit is to charge the receiver in this way?

Cheers!

When you unplug and reconnect the BT receiver to the charger, does the charging light come on?

Yes it does!!

I guess the receiver consuming more power than it is getting from the car charger? But surely the receiver should work on external power from the charger even with a discharged battery?

Cheers,
Steve

You may need to send your receiver in for a replacement. unfortunately there are plenty of stories like yours in our forum for the TT BT GPS...
