|
I am running Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 9 Beta Version
I cannot get My TomTom G520 to access my Pc.
This was never a problem before and I am wondering if The Beta Explorer could have anything to do with this as that is about all that's been changed recently.
Some Help on this would be Appreciated and Sanity retained. |

Shouldn't be anything to do with IE.
Did the problem happen at the same time as you got Windows 7?
When you connect to the PC and switch on does the TomTom ask if you want to connect, (like it should)?
Does the TomTom seem to connect but Windows doesn't find it as a new disk drive?
Or is it only TomTom Home that doesn't think you have connected?
There's a TomTom help page that gives a few tips for those three scenarios HERE |

Moved to TomTom PND Forum
Have you tried Plugging the TomTom unit into a different USB port? |

And try a pin reset on the unit. Then connect to the computer. _________________ David |

I have a problem on one laptop running W7 - if it's been switched on and running various progs for a while and I connect the TomTom the laptop will often either blue screen & crash or the TomTom remains invisible, but if I connect the TomTom to a freshly booted system I don’t have any problems |
