Hello hello
Just a couple of observations:
1. I have converted speed cameras using GPX as I didn't used to get all speed cameras alerts.
2. When driving with a route *selected* ('where to?'), not all alerts come up, though - for example, REDSPEED:[email protected], Heading:280, Single Direction on A902 in Edinburgh never signals. Same for REDSPEED:[email protected], Heading:104, Single Direction.
In a similar way, when coming back from the Borders (Melrose) to Edinburgh (A68) yesterday, I got no speed alerts *at all* for *any* of *the 60mph speed cameras (Gatsos)* on *A68*, and there's plenty of them. Mobile camera warnings on A68 never came on either, though they did in Edinburgh, as did the Gatso on Sir Lauder Road GATSO:[email protected], Heading:295.
3. It seems to me that when doing simulated driving (simulator on), alerts show up. When simulator is off, they don't always show up. Also, when no route is selected, i.e. when just driving with the view map mode on, they sometimes show up, and sometimes they don't.
Is it just me, or did the GPX conversion tool not prove to be a good solution to the problem?
