Up To date POI for France

Hi all. Long time since I've posted on here. Good to see PGW still going strong

I'm going on a trip to France next week and was looking at the free POI databases on here. I'm looking for French supermarkets ov2 type but noticed the last updates seem to be over 12 months old.

Does any know if these are going to be updated or know of an alternative POI database which is more current.

They do get updated on a daily basis but we rely on user-submissions. So if no one has submitted to a particular category then obviously it doesn't get updated :D

I think that's a very important point that needs to be shouted from the rooftops!

There is no magical individual that creates accurate POI sets for here or anywhere else... it either requires huge and expensive research (which is beyond most organisations) or a strong community effort.

If everyone who is a regular user of this site could make an effort to check just one or two POI categories for accuracy in their local areas, we could make a huge difference to the overall quality of the data.
