I think everyone has probably had the same problem. I swapped mine to an Arkon mount with adaptor to suit the 730. I can't remember the model number but check their website and then buy on eBay. I got mine for under £12 including shipping, and in the year and a half that I've had it, it hasn't once fallen off the windscreen, and there are no cracks anywhere to be seen. I use it every day in several vehicles including Transits and almost any car you care to mentio. It's really great in the likes of a Ford Galaxy, where it can be mounted on the quarter-light window, putting it within arm's reach, unlike the TomTom supplied mount.

Looking at mount retailer sites, the x00 mount is completely different to the x20/x30 mounts. I don't think you're luck's in.

I am sure your mount will be fine but I binned my gooseneck because it just shook about all over the place & that was in my MPV which had a very soft ride, not so sure about a van.

Hope you can get along with it.

In my experience ALL goosenecks shake and eventually break, which is why I recommended the Arkon mount.
