I have the 740 Live and have been very happy with the connection to my mobile phone -- and Look forward to Tom-Tom saying "welcome to your phone"

Great at the moment I have a Sony Ericsson K750i and it connects quite well --

But now I want to change phones -- my son who also has a phone connected to his Tom-tom -- changed his phone and now has lost most of the things he could do with the phone before -- read texts - etc..

What phone shall [should] I get to be compatible with the TT 740L I would like a Sony Ericsson -- as then I don't have to change chargers etc.. but want all my Tom-tom things to work..

What do you sugest...

I have looked on the compatibility site -- bu cant seem to find one that T Mobile do !! [my contract is with them]

Any help please

Maurice

I'd be interested in any replies too, as I'm about to give up on my antique (non-bluetooth!) Nokia at long last. I'm looking for something available on PAYG from Orange.

All I know from previous forum discussions is that in general it seems the best bet for compatibility is Sony Ericsson....

Hi Guys,

Just got a Samsung jet on contract, works ok on my 740, but took a bit of setting up.

If you use a bluetooth headset this makes the 740 go a bit weird, so I now have to turn the headset off, if using the 740.
