Hello,

I hope this is the right place to ask my question.

I have an old Ipaq HP4700 with Copilot 6 installed and a Free Cruiser auto mount with powered speaker/amplifier and bluetooth GPS.
What is the switch on sequence please.
PPC is in the cradle, do I switch on the PPC first then plug in the car connection and switch the engine on. Or do I start the car up plug in everything then turn the PPC on last. Or is there another sequence I've not thought of.

Any help is much appreciated.
Regards
Bernard

Depends on the car to be honest, does the car drop the power to the ciggy socket when you turn the engine over or not?
If it de-powers the ciggy socket then you will be safe to put it in the holder as soon as you get in the car.
If it doesn't de-power the socket durring engine cranking than I wouldn't put it in the holder until after engine start - Mike
