Importing walks into Active 10

Hi,

This is my first post on this forum and would be grateful if someone could shed some light on the following:

When I save a walk as a .GPX file in my MemoryMap software I can import it into the Active 10 using the SatSYNC 1.212 software.

The problem I seem to have is that most imports then show up in the Active 10 as multiple small files instead of one big file.

It messes up the directory structure in the Active 10 big time so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I leave someone else to answer your question as I have not imported from MM, but I have had no problem importing .gpx files.

I now use the map creator at www.bikehike.co.uk to create all my new routes and then import to the Active 10. It is a great tool and even includes elevation data.

Even though it sounds like re-inventing the wheel, bikehike is quick and easy to use so maybe consider that option.
