I've just signed up to the PocketGPSWorld database as i knows it's probably the best on the market, however i notice you say you cannot give directional alerts.
I come accross this company who say they have it working, is there anyway you can do the same ?

I think the majority of your users probably use Tom Tom devices ? |

They are using a third party application running on the TomTom in order to have directional alerts, the PGPSW database is a POI based system rather than additional software for the PND - Mike |

We did have an application that ran on the TomTom units for capturing camera locations and recording speed, heading, type etc but TomTom withdrew the SDK (Software Developer Kit) interface rendering most third party applications inoperative.
A few people have continued to create third party applications but each time the Navcore is updated they tend to have to fix the third party applications which is no small job due to the number of different devices and software variants available - Mike |
