Hi
This isn't a problem but it is something that puzzles me every time it happens. I have a 520 and, despite the many issues, when it works it is great. I use one of the computer generated voices and have it set to read out street names etc.
Sometimes, when on a route and I have to go through a town it tells me to turn left, or right, onto 'High Street Colliers' However, the road I tyurn on to, although a high street does not have the suffix Colliers.
Does this happen to others and if so can anyone explain?
Thanks |

Not heard that one for a while!
I'm sure if you do a forum search for "Colliers" you'll find a few posts about it a year or so ago.
If I remember correctly, it was a bizarre error in the map itself, so a new map version fixed the problem.
what map version are you using? To find the version number, tap the signal strength bars and then tap the small box on the next screen with the software version number in it (we don't want that number here)
On the following screen full of text, you should see the map name and version number listed. |
