hi i had a navigon 2200 which developed a fault and because halfords said they don't have a navigon repair agent they told me i could exchanged it for another sat nav so i chose a tomtom one v4, so guys my questions is did i make the right choice in choosing the tomtom one? and is there anything like curve Warner you get with navigon available for the tomtom one? and if possible i would like a spoken warning for cameras ie: warning gatso ahead limit 30. i know i had something like this on my tomtom navigator 5 but cant remember how i did it.
Thanks guys for any help with these questions.

TomTom are the "Hoover" of the satnav world, so they have a lot going for them. I doubt you'll be disappointed, unless this "curve warner is important to you, as unfortunately there's nothing like that on any TT model (other then just glimpsing at the screen!)

How did it work on the Navigon?

hi thanks for the reply, curve Warner would sound an alert saying (beware or caution) cant remember the exact word as it only fired about 3 times in the 9 months i had it but they where nasty tight bends and after a quick look at the screen you could see the bend coming up.

And we have spoken warnings just like that for use with our speedcam database service.

Thanks for the replies to my questions i have just read through the sticky tomtom faq's which makes interesting reading. I moved from tomtom a couple of years ago due to the terrible inaccuracy of the post code search so i hope tomtom have improved this with the newer models. Thanks again guys for your help.
