Michelin guides coming?

I recently asked yet again if Navigon plan to offer the Michelin guides out of France and also about English other voices and this is the reply.

"Dear Sir,

thank you for contacting navigon support.

These are all planned but we have not yet been informed when it will become availible.

Should you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact us"

Certainly seems like a step forward, because they now confirm that it's coming, just no indication as to when... Smile

I for one would be willing buy the guides.

Excellent news! I am ready to buy. I am on my way to France now (from Kenya) and am taking my old ViaMichelin (in addition to my 8310 (now loaded with POI Warner)) with with me so that I can look up restaurants and hotels. Fortunately the Content Manager still allows you to update the guides

Still now news on this unfortunately. I was hoping IFA was going to be used as a time annouce VM guides for ALL Crying or Very sad

I think they will be using their Live service as a replacement for the VM guides, but I still live in hope.

I like the fact that the POI will be updated quicker than the map updates. However I would still love the actual VM guides Crying or Very sad

Maybe they are waiting till the new models are launched for sale.
