Cheers saved, saved me looking it up!
You can put any of the files in your Western_Europe map folder or all of them, for the spoken instructions to work in any specific country you need to have the file that corresponds to it in the map folder. If all you want is UK then only install the CSpeech_GBR file, if you plan on using the device in Europe add the files you need for the countries you will be travelling through. Only putting one or two of the files on the device will reduce the storage space required - Mike |

Sorry to drag up an old post.
Do the Cspeech files change with each map upgrade?
I'm currently running v835.2419, will the link to v710.1576 be OK to use to get the Cspeech_GBR file?

I am not aware of any newer files so give it a try you don't have anything to lose by downloading and installing the file to the folder - Mike |

Have you downloaded the map through HOME?
If so, find your TomTom\HOME\download\complete\map folder and look for the zip file of your map.
You will be able to extract the cspeech files manually from the downloaded map.
For some reason HOME always downloads the full set but can be a bit random as to which (if any) it installs. |

Thanks for the quick replies.
I'll download the file from the link and also have a look in the map updates which I have and see if there is anything there.
Ian
Have just had a look at my downloads and all the files are there so will copy across the latest one. |
