Brand new 540. Error Code: 107. No LIVE services available.

First post here, first time with a sat nav.

I received a 540 from Amazon a couple of days ago and no problems at all connecting to Live services, didn't need to do anything.

These units connect to the Vodafone network so if you can make/receive calls okay with a Vodafone mobile phone then signal strength should be okay, this might help others rule out signal strength issues without driving around for miles

It sounds like a batch of phones have left the factory but Vodafone have not received a list of IDs so they are being refused connection to the network rather than a physical hardware fault.

When I recently got my 740 I had the 107 error for about two days, but since then it has connected to Live services quickly every time with no problems.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
