My TomTom ONE v3 has latest maps recently downloaded from TomTom site, and these are on my 1Gb SD card, 900Mb), but when I switch on, the screen shows 'No maps'. Its also the same when I access via my TomTom Home on the PC. Is there a damaged file which should be running for the programme to access the maps?

First thing to try is resetting the device, if its got a reset hole on the base of the unit give it a prod with a paperclip, if there is no reset hole press and hold the on/ off button untill the device restarts - Mike |

Next to try is the "Clearflash" tool, downloadable from the TomTom website, HERE
Run the self-extracting archive and follow the on-screen instructions. |

Thanks for the suggestions. I finally removed the SD card to a card reader, reformatted and replaced in the TomTom. Reset then started again. It automatically loaded from TomTom Home2 including maps, then I had to replace PoIs. Now OK... |
