Can anybody suggest a sat nav system that is compatible with a Nokia N95 8GB and that will use the built in GPS. If so can you tell me how to load it onto the phone. lofty |

You could have a look at Nav4All.Try www.nav4all.com/mobi/eng/in from your Nokia.
The other one I have is Telmap Navigator 4.5 Some of the people here got trial subscriptions to this and it is still working. Have a look at Telmap.com
Hope this helps. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |

Just be aware that you might need a tarrif for your phone that includes Data, if not using off-board map storage can get very costly depending upon your phone contract supplier. I would always prefer to have an onboard solution where the application and maps are stored on the device where ever you venture.
Go overseas and the data costs get very high making the off-board solution rather too costly - Mike |

IIRC the only way to get TTN6 working on the N95/96 was to use a Bluetooth GPS receiver as the TomTom software cannot start or see the built in GPS hardware - Mike |

Sorry, I should have mentioned that. I have a 30Gb a month data tariff with Orange for £8, so I don't really notice it. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |
