Hiking Insurance inc satmap plus and cards

can anyone tell me if there is any insurance that i can take out, as when hiking i can be carrying a in monetary value for me a vast amount of equipment, that i could not replace easily, i rent where i live and am not sure that insurance would cover me anyway, plus my contents are minimal, except for my hiking Equipment, any help would be appreciated. Ask your home insurer about adding it as a 'specified all risks' section - almost certainly cheaper than a separate policy.
